KP Rotary Electromatic Product Filler
We are offering for sale a remanufacturing a BWI KP Aerofill six head Rotary Electromatic product filler. This is a model 126-6-6 filler that was constructed new in 1993 or 1994.
This machine was originally delivered and operated as a 6 head machine. However, we are converting it to become a 12 head filler during our remanufacturing process.
This particular machine was run for several years before being purchased and stored in a warehouse, unused for nearly 8 years. Consequently, while the machine is messy and dirty, the mechanical condition is excellent, with little wear.
The KP Aerofill /Packaging Technologies Rotary Electromatic filler is one of the best high-speed aerosol concentrate fillers offered for continuous motion rotary filling applications. They are capable of accurate fills while maintaining high production speeds. The ease of cleanout makes them very popular for all aerosol fillers.
The machine is available for purchase and can be custom -tailored to fit your requirements. If you are filling any free-flowing products , this is an excellent filler to consider.
Control and Electrical Upgrades
This "dash six" model was originally delivered with an air-pressurized cabinet to maintain the ability for the machine to fill flammable product concentrates. We are updating the control logic to use a new Siemens PLC control system, replacing the original "Board logic" system, which is no longer supported. Further, all of the sensors we will be using during the remanufacture are "intrinsically safe". All of the original fiber optic sensors are being removed. (Incidentally, If you need a board or complete control system for your original "dash six" machine, we are selling the boards and control logic system separately.)
In essence, we are updating the entire electrical and control sensing system to take advantage of the latest available technology. We are avoiding the use of any proprietary control systems- as the original manufacturer did. After our updating and rebuilding, this machine will be able to be serviced, run and updated by anyone with PLC operating experience. The result is that our changes make this machine much simpler and easier to maintain, while still capable of filling flammable products.
Mechanical Work
This filler has been fully disassembled and is being remanufactured throughout. We anticipate deliver to be in the second quarter of 2006. All bushings and bearings, seals etc are being replaced during this process. The machine will be delivered to the new customer with a one-year warranty.
